Namibia boasts huge deep blue skies and wide-open vistas, rich earthly colours and an intense sense of isolation, making it such an amazing and spiritual place. Namibia's startling scenery and vast landscapes are due to the two great deserts it straddles, the Namib, known as the oldest desert in the world, and the vast savannah of the Kalahari.

Situated along the south western coast of the African continent, with a land surface of over 800,000 square kilometres it is nearly four times the size of Great Britain, yet Namibia is one of the most sparsely populated countries in Africa .

Of the seventeen parks and reserves in Namibia, Etosha National Park is undoubtedly the most famous. From the rainy season when life blooms on the plains to the dry season when hundreds of animals congregate at waterholes, Etosha is a Mecca for wildlife. By day enjoy the company of twenty species of antelope; at night listen to the laughter of hyenas, the roar of lions or watch rare black rhinos as they gather to drink at one of the park’s three floodlit waterholes. Famous for its stunningly beautiful sand dunes, Namibia offers the world’s second largest canyon and fantasic game viewing.
