Legal requirements
- Minimum residency for wedding ceremonies is two working days.
- Copies of birth certificates and 10 year passports are required.
- If your name has been changed by Deed Poll, legal proof is required.
- If divorced, Decree Absolute.
- If widowed, death certificate of former spouse and previous marriage certificate must be produced.
- If under 21 years old, evidence of parent's consent in the form of an affidavit stamped by a notary public or solicitor.
- Certified copies of all mentioned documents will be required twelve weeks prior to departure, original documents are to be hand-carried in resort.
- Certified documents are a photocopy of the relevant document which has been stamped and signed by a solicitor as being a true copy of the original. The signature should be made in blue or red ink so that it cannot be mistaken for a photocopy.
- The word solicitor must be shown on the stamp on each document, not handwritten.
